Meta protection
Connecting Meta lets AdProtektor exclude fraudulent visitors from your audiences, so your Facebook and Instagram spend stops chasing traffic that will never convert. The dashboard reports a separate Meta protection score alongside your Google Ads one.
Meta does not offer IP-level exclusion the way Google Ads does, so protection works through audiences instead: fraudulent visitors are placed into an exclusion audience your campaigns then exclude.
Connecting Meta
Connect from Settings → Integrations for the website. Once linked, exclusion audiences are kept up to date automatically as visitors are blocked and unblocked.
Audience updates are not instant
Meta processes audience membership changes on its own schedule, so exclusions take longer to take effect than a Google Ads IP exclusion. This is a Meta platform characteristic rather than a delay on our side.
Meta protection score
Your dashboard shows a Meta protection score next to the Google Ads one, so you can see at a glance whether each channel is actually covered. A low score usually means the connection is incomplete rather than that fraud is winning.
Meta and ConversionOS
If you run ConversionOS, the same Meta connection powers server-side conversion tracking — dual-firing the Pixel and the Conversions API with a shared event ID so Meta de-duplicates automatically. See ConversionOS destinations.
Frequently asked questions
Can I protect Meta without Google Ads?
Yes. The two integrations are independent — connect either, both, or neither.
Why is Meta protection weaker than Google Ads protection?
Because of what each platform allows. Google Ads accepts explicit IP exclusions; Meta only offers audience exclusion, which is coarser and slower to apply. We use the strongest mechanism each platform exposes.
