Setting up ConversionOS

Setup is three steps: enable the add-on on your plan, connect at least one destination, and confirm a conversion arrives. Your existing tracking script already collects the events — you are configuring where they get sent.

No second script to install

ConversionOS uses the tracking script you already have. If your website is verified, the data collection side is done.

The three steps

  1. Enable the add-on

Attach ConversionOS to your plan from the billing page. Pricing is shown at checkout.

  2. Connect a destination

Go to Settings → ConversionOS for the website and connect Meta, GA4 or Google Enhanced Conversions for Web. See ConversionOS destinations.

  3. Confirm a conversion arrives

Use the built-in test fire, or make a real test purchase or enquiry. The ConversionOS dashboard shows recent conversions as they land.

Platform-specific capture

Some platforms need a little more than the page script to capture the full funnel, because their checkout runs outside your pages.

Shopify
The AdProtektor Shopify app sets up a Custom Pixel plus server-side webhooks. This is required for checkout events — Shopify's modern checkout does not run arbitrary page scripts.
WooCommerce / WordPress
The WordPress plugin captures purchases server-side, plus form submissions from WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7 and Elementor Pro.
Custom platforms
Send conversions directly server-to-server through the custom API, which is the most reliable option of all because nothing depends on the browser.

Choosing which events to send

You control which events are surfaced to your ad platforms. Sending everything is not always right — some platforms optimise better on a small number of high-quality signals. See Events and the funnel.

Checking your setup

The ConversionOS dashboard shows a checklist reflecting real state: subscription active, destination configured, first conversion received. Anything unticked is genuinely not done.

Frequently asked questions

How long until I see conversions?

A test fire is immediate. Real conversions appear as they happen, subject to any settlement delay you have configured.

Can I connect more than one destination?

Yes — Meta, GA4 and Google Enhanced Conversions can all run at once, and each is tested and monitored independently.
