AdProtektor ships pre-built protection profiles covering 42 industries, each with its own risk benchmarks and recommended rules. Applying one configures your click protection, blocking mode, enforcement and duration for your sector in a single click.

Fraud does not look the same everywhere. Legal and insurance keywords attract expensive competitor clicking; e-commerce attracts scrapers and bots; local services attract lead-form spam. A threshold that is right for one is wrong for another.

Search the list of profiles — pick the closest match rather than an exact one.
Apply the recommended settings
This sets click protection, blocking mode, enforcement and block duration together.
A starting point, not a ceiling
A profile gets you to a sensible configuration quickly. Everything it sets remains editable, so tune from there once you have a few days of your own data.
Risk benchmarks
Each profile carries a risk tier for its sector, which is what makes the recommended rules more or less aggressive. It also gives you context for your own numbers — a fraud rate that looks alarming in the abstract may be ordinary for your industry.
Frequently asked questions
What if my industry is not listed?
Pick the nearest match. Profiles are calibrated on fraud patterns rather than business descriptions, so a neighbouring sector with a similar buying cycle and click cost is usually close enough.
Will applying a profile overwrite my settings?
Yes — that is the point of it. Applying recommended settings replaces the protection values it covers, so review your current configuration first if you have already tuned it.
